IRISH PONY SOCIETY CHILD SAFEGUARDING STATEMENT

The Children First Act 2015 (Section 11 (1) (b)) requires organisations that are providers of relevant services to prepare a Child Safeguarding Statement.  This is a written statement that specifies the service being provided and the principles and procedures to be observed in order to ensure, as far as practicable, that a child availing of our services is safe from harm.

The Irish Pony Society’s Child Safeguarding Statement has been developed in line with requirements under the Children First Act 2015.  In addition to our Safeguarding Risk Assessment conducted, there are further procedures that support our intention to safeguard children while they are availing of our activities.  Please refer to The Irish Pony Society’s Child Safeguarding Statement below:

CHILD SAFEGUARDING STATEMENT
Safeguarding 1 is required for all Judges and Committee Members and Safeguarding 1 & 2 is required for your Area Child Protection Officer
